För veckans röda tisdag har jag valt några bilder från Falucruisingen 2008. SysterYster och Sambon hade kvar sin Ford-cab och vi tog med oss svägerskan och for en sväng på stan.

My sister and her fiance owned a red Ford Galaxie convertible for a few years. They sold it and bought another old American car last year. One evening every summer there is a big car cruising event in Dalarna and this was the night of the 2008 summer cruising. Warm and cozy, a perfect night for a trip in the "cab"! Our sister-in-law asked to join us and we brought her and the kids (my kids' plus their cousins) for a tour around the town. Of course there were lots and lots of cars in different colors, but I picked some of the red ones I caught on camera, for Ruby Tuesday.

Cruising!

On the shot of the Corvette you might see a red ring to the far right. That's my brother - and father of the two kids.

It grew slightly darker. Sky still looks bright, but that is not really true!

I live in the US, and I love old cars. The styling was so different than now, where efficiency counts for more. Back then, the cars were 'styled', the sleek and big cars having such good looks. That 1967 Galaxie is long and sleek, the perfect look for a convertible. But I notice the Edsel, Olds Cutlass, Corvette and others. All are beautiful, the cruise looks so fun...

Those are awesome cars! I'd love to go for a ride in one of them. Riding in cars with the top down is so great. You're lucky you got to see all that. Old cars rock. :)
